Mars Telesat Simulations

The movies below show simulations of the PSF's formed by a 2x2 array of 80 cm apertures. The Cerro Pachon turbulence profile with a Fried parameter of 8 cm at .5 microns was used in the simulation. Electromagnetic radiation at a wavelength of 1 micron was propagated through this turbulence to form the simulated images. These images are shown on a linear stretch clipped at 10 percent of the unaberrated PSF amplitude.
